Pob lwc for your exams

As the summer term begins, many learners continue to prepare for their exams, which start in a couple of weeks. Paul Bevan, Chair of Qualifications Wales, wishes pob lwc to all learners taking exams and assessments.

The annual summer exam and assessment series begins in two weeks, and learners across Wales will get a chance to show what they know as they complete their qualifications.

Pob lwc i bawb sy’n paratoi ar gyfer arholiadau ac asesiadau eleni – pob lwc to everyone preparing to take exams and assessments this year.

For learners across Wales, the coming weeks will be a chance to summarise and share what you have learned. For many, this will be a welcome chance to share all the things you’ve learned over your studies, but this can also be a challenging time. You might be feeling pressure to get your best results, juggling revision with other commitments, or feeling nervous about what lies ahead.

You’re not alone, and support is available to help everyone achieve their best. Many schools and colleges offer revision sessions, wellbeing support, or someone you can talk to if you’re feeling stressed. Teachers and lecturers want to help so don’t be afraid to reach out. And there are lots of people working together behind the scenes to support you through your exams and assessments, including everyone at Qualifications Wales.

Whether you’re sitting your first set of exams or your last, the work you put in matters, but it doesn’t define you. Look after yourself, plan out your revision, take breaks, remember the advice your teachers and lecturers have given you, and focus on doing your best with what you know.

On behalf of everyone at Qualifications Wales, we wish you the very best for the weeks ahead. Pob lwc - you’ve got this.
