This five‑year Strategic Priorities plan sets out how Qualifications Wales will work with partners across the education system to shape and regulate qualifications over the period 2026–31.
It explains how our priorities support our long‑term wellbeing objectives and national ambitions for education in Wales, with a clear focus on delivering a coherent and inclusive National Qualifications offer, strengthening post‑16 provision, modernising assessment, and maintaining a robust qualifications system.
The plan provides a framework for our work over the short to medium term, while the detailed actions we take each year are set out in our annual Business Plan.
